Whole wheat grain oat bread - abm

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1⅛ cup Water, at 105-110 degrees F
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Molasses or honey
cup Whole wheat flour
½ cup White flour
½ cup Rolled oats
¾ cup 7-grain cereal
¼ cup Nonfat dried milk powder
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoons Gluten
2 teaspoons Yeast

Directions

Place ingredients in bread machine in order given (or in reverse order if your machine takes the dry ingredients first).

To make in bread machine: process on whole wheat cycle.

To bake in oven: process on dough cycle. Remove dough, punch down and shape into loaf. Place in greased bread loaf pan and let rise until doubled, about one hour. Bake in 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes.

Remove loaf to cool.

Note: Instead of using 7 grain cereal, you can use 8 grain, 9 grain, 12 grain, etc. -- whatever is available where you shop. You can usually find this stuff in grocery stores where they have bins with grains, flours, etc.

Option: Add ¼ sunflower seeds.
