Walnut-apricot filling

Yield: 32 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
¼ cup White wine
2 cups Ground walnuts
1 tablespoon Freshly grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons Apricot jam or orange marmalade
1½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
¼ cup Raisins
2 tablespoons Fine dried bread crumbs

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and wine. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. In a medium bowl combine all remaining ingredients. Pour in hot sugar mixture and mix well; let cool.
