Yield: 4 Servings
|1 tablespoon||Butter or margarine|
|½ cup||Chopped green onions|
|1 tablespoon||Magic Seasoning Blends seafood magic **|
|1 pounds||Medium shrimp; peeled and deveined|
|½ teaspoon||Minced garlic|
|1 cup||Heavy or whipping cream|
|½ cup||Shredded Muenster cheese|
|Cooked rice or pasta; (optional)|
** or ½ teaspoon each salt, dry mustard, ground red pepper and basil, and ¼ teaspoon each garlic powder and thyme 1. Heat 10-inch skillet over high heat 1 minute. Add butter. Stir in green onions and 2 teaspoons seasoning mix; cook 1 minute. Add shrimp ad garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes. Stir in cream and remaining seasoning mix; cook 1 minute. Remove shrimp with slotted spoon.
2. Boil cream in same skillet, whisking constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in cheese, then shrimp. Serve with hot cooked rice or pasta, if desired.
It's the cream plus the cheese that makes the sauce velvety.
