4 c Bread Cubes 1 c Celery, chopped ⅓ c Onion, chopped 1 tb Parsley Leaves, freshly chopped 1 Garlic Clove, minced ½ c Hot Water * ¼ ts Black Pepper, ground ¼ ts Ground Sage ¼ ts Dried Marjoram ¼ ts Dried Thyme ⅛ ts Dried Basil Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Toss with a wooden spoon. Pour the mixture into a lightly-oiled casserole. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
Note: This dressing may also be used as a stuffing for Cornish hens, chicken
and turkey.
* For a more moist dressing use ¾ cup warm water.
