Bread dressing - slc

Ingredients

1each(1 pound) loaf day old bread ;crumbled
teaspoonPoultry seasoning
½teaspoonPepper
1cupCanned chicken broth; undiluted
2eachesEggs; slightly beaten
¾cupOnion; chopped
¾cupCelery; chopped
½cupButter or margarine; melted

Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; set aside.

Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Add to bread mixture, stirring well. Spoon into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish. Cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Yield: 6 servings.
