Toasty cheese bake

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
8 slices White bread
Butter
½ pounds Ground beef
¼ cup Chopped onion
2 tablespoons Chopped celery
1 tablespoon Prepared mustard
½ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
1 Egg, slightly beaten
¾ cup Milk
½ teaspoon Salt
Dash of pepper
⅛ teaspoon Dry mustard

Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Toast the bread; buttering both sides. Cook and stir meat, onion, celery, prepared mustard and ½ tsp. of salt until meat is brown and onion is tender. Alternate layers of toast, meat mixture and cheese in a greased baking pan, 9 x 9 x 2 inches. Mix remaining ingredients, pour over layers in the pan.
