Three-berry compote

Ingredients

| ½ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
| 1½ | tablespoon | Maple syrup |
| 1 | tablespoon | Triple sec or other orange-flavored liqueur |
| 2 | teaspoons | Vanilla extract |
| Fresh mint sprigs, (optional) | ||
Directions
Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl, and stir well. Let stand 10 minutes.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
