Three-berry compote

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Sliced fresh strawberries
1½ cup Fresh blueberries
1½ cup Fresh blackberries
½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1½ tablespoon Maple syrup
1 tablespoon Triple sec or other orange-flavored liqueur
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
\N \N Fresh mint sprigs, (optional)

Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl, and stir well. Let stand 10 minutes.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
