Very berry compote

1Bag unsweetened frozen strawberries
1Bag unsweetened frozen blueberries
1Bag unsweetened frozen raspberries; (optional)
3Apples or pears; peeled and diced, up to 4
1tablespoonLemon juice
1teaspoonCinnamon or allspice
cupSugar; (use more or less, depending on taste)
½cupWater; (depending on how much liquid is desired), up to 3/4

Directions
