Yield: 2 cups
Measure | Ingredient |

1 cup | Powdered sugar |
½ cup | (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pieces |
½ cup | Whipping cream |
4 ounces | Semisweet chocolate, chopped |
4 ounces | Unsweetened chocolate, chopped |
2 teaspoons | Vanilla extract |
Combine powdered sugar, butter and cream in heavy medium saucepan.
Stir over medium-low heat until smooth. Remove from heat. Add chocolates and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
(Can be prepared 1 week ahead. Cover and chill. Rewarm over low heat before serving.)
