Texas tornado cake

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Sugar
2 \N Eggs
2 cups Fruit cocktail
2 teaspoons Baking soda
2 cups Flour
¼ cup Brown sugar
1 cup Chopped nuts
\N \N Icing
½ cup Butter
¾ cup Sugar
½ cup Evaporated milk
1 cup Flaked coconut

Sift baking powder and flour. Add sugar, eggs, and fruit cocktail.

Blend well. Pour batter into well greased, lightly floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix the brown sugar with nuts. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

ICING Boil the butter, sugar, and milk together for 2 minutes. Stir in coconut. Mix well. Spoon over hot cake.
