Sunday special (charlene hatfield)

Yield: 10 Servings

Measure Ingredient
20 \N Oreo cookies
1 quart Vanilla ice cream
4 tablespoons Melted butter
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Evaporated milk
3 ounces Chocolate
9 ounces Cool whip
\N \N Chopped nuts

Blend the oreos in a blender. Combine the oreos and the butter. Put aside ¼ cup. Spread the rest over the bottom of a 13 X 9 pan, covering the bottom. Slice the ice cream over the top of the cookie crumbs, covering the bottom. Mix together 1 cup sugar, 1 cup evaporated milk, 3 oz. of chocolate and bring to a full boil. LET COOL!!! Pour over the ice cream. Spread the cool whip over the chocolate sauce. sprinkle with the reserved Oreo crumbs and the nuts.

Freeze until ready to serve.
