⅛ teaspoon | Pepper |
1 teaspoon | Curry powder (optional) |
2 cups | Cubed, cooked chicken |
4 \N | Peaches or nectarines; cubed |
1 cup | Sliced celery (2 ribs) |
¼ cup | Sliced green onions |
¼ cup | Toasted slivered almonds (optional) |
1. In large bowl whisk together mayonnaise, lemon or lime juice, sugar, ginger, salt and pepper (for curried chicken salad whisk in curry powder).
2. Stir in chicken, peaches, celery and green onions.
3. Cover and chill. Before serving, stir in almonds if desired.
