Sugar roasted nuts

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Raw shelled peanuts
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Water
\N \N Salt

In saucepan, combine peanuts, sugar and water. Place over medium heat; cook and stir until mixture crystallizes and coats peanuts, about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and spread nuts in buttered pan, about 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan; sprinkle with salt and bake in 300 degrees oven for 15 minutes.

Lift and turn peanuts with spatula and bake another 5 minutes. Remove from pan with spatula to cool. Store in covered con- tainer.
