1 teaspoon | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
My friend Katherine shared this recipe with me years ago and my kids and I have used it many times for great cut-out cookies.
Mix, cover, and chill for 1 hr. Roll out on floured table and cut out interesting shapes. Decorate with sprinkles (optional). Cook cookies at 325 degrees for 6 to 10 minutes. (until they are golden around the edges). For shortening I usually use margerine, and cut it up and mix it in. (Don't melt it) Butter tastes delicious too. Hope you have as much fun as we have had!
