Yield: 1 Servings
Measure | Ingredient |
---|---|
1 cup | Soft butter |
1⅔ cup | Sugar |
3 \N | Eggs |
3 teaspoons | Vanilla |
3½ cup | Sifted flour |
2½ teaspoon | Baking powder |
¾ teaspoon | Salt |
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to butter-sugar mixture. Roll balls of dough the size of walnuts. Place on well-greased cookie sheet. Using any object with a round, flat bottom about the size of the cookie you want, grease (Pam is good for this) the bottom, dip into granulated sugar, and press down on cookie ball until about ⅛ inch thick. Must be dipped in sugar each time. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
