Strawberry-fig preserves

6 | cups | Peeled figs; crushed |
1 | cup | Water |
6 | cups | Sugar |
4 | packs | (small) strawberry jello |
Directions
Put crushed figs and water in a pot; cook for 30 minutes. Add sugar; mix well. Stir in Jello. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes more (until thick). Pour into sterilized jars and seal while hot.
