Spicy rice casserole

Ingredients

1poundsMild bulk pork sausage
1teaspoonGround cumin
½teaspoonGarlic powder
2mediumsOnions, chopped
2mediumsGreen peppers, chopped
2Beef bouillon cubes
2cupsBoiling water
1To 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely minced
1pack(6-1/4 ounces) long grain and wild rice

Directions

In a large skillet, cook sausage, cumin and garlic powder, stirring often. Drain. Add onions and green peppers; saut until crisp-tender.

Dissolve bouillon in water; add to skillet. Stir in jalapenos, rice and rice seasoning packet; bring to a boil. Reduce Yield: 4-6 servings.
