| 2 | teaspoons | Cardamom seeds |
| Vanilla essence | ||
| 2 | ounces | Sugar |
| 2 | Dsp dark rum | |
| 1 | Thick cream for serving | |
Directions
1 Toss the sliced banana in the lemon juice, place in a saucepan with the molasses, cardamom, vanilla, rum and sugar, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Pass through a fine sieve. Serve with the thick cream on top of the molasses cake.
