Spiced or curried nuts

Yield: 1 batch

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Nuts (any kind, alone or or mixed
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
1½ pounds Nuts
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons *Fresh* curry powder heaping tablespoons
1 tablespoon Garam masala (heaped tb)
\N \N Salt
1 teaspoon Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
\N \N Salt

CURRIED NUTS

Place the nuts in a shallow pan. Mix the oil and spices together and pour them over the nuts. Stir well with a wooden spoon. Bake in a moderate oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently, or saute in a frying pan. The nuts should take on colour but no burn. Spread on paper towels to drain and sprinkle on the salt. Store in glass jars.

They are better the next day.
