¼ cup | Olive oil |
½ teaspoon | Dried sweet basil |
½ teaspoon | Oregano |
½ teaspoon | Salt and pepper |
½ teaspoon | Red pepper flakes |
1 teaspoon | Fresh chopped parsley |
Mix all spices in olive oil. Let stand for about 15 min. Slice cheese as thin as possible and place on a platter over decorative lettuce (red leaf or green leaf) with anchovies and/or roasted peppers. Pour spiced mixture over cheese and serve with toasted Italian bread. (wrv)
