Spaghetti sauce 3

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cans (46 oz) tomato juice
24 ounces Tomato paste
1 large Onion, cut into eighths
2 smalls Hot peppers, split and sliced
6 \N Cloves garlic, minced (up to 8)
1 tablespoon (heaping) brown sugar
1 \N Stalk celery, chopped
1 \N Green pepper, cut into eighths
2 teaspoons Salt
2 teaspoons Oregano
2 teaspoons Basil
2 pounds Hamburger or hot Italian sausage

Combine everything except meat in large pot. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 4-6 hours. Cook uncovered for one hour. Remove vegetables.

Brown meat. Drain well. Cook meat in sauce for an additional hour.
