Spaghetti sauce 3

Ingredients

2cans(46 oz) tomato juice
24ouncesTomato paste
1largeOnion, cut into eighths
2smallsHot peppers, split and sliced
6Cloves garlic, minced (up to 8)
1tablespoon(heaping) brown sugar
1Stalk celery, chopped
1Green pepper, cut into eighths
2teaspoonsSalt
2teaspoonsOregano
2teaspoonsBasil
2poundsHamburger or hot Italian sausage

Directions

Combine everything except meat in large pot. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 4-6 hours. Cook uncovered for one hour. Remove vegetables.

Brown meat. Drain well. Cook meat in sauce for an additional hour.
