Southern country gravy

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Onions; diced |
| ¾ | teaspoon | Garlic; minced |
| 3 | tablespoons | Oil (use the oil from frying the tofu) |
| ¼ | cup | Breading mixture left over from the main recipe, or unbleached flour |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Yeast, smoked |
| 5 | teaspoons | Vogue Vegy Base |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
| 1 | cup | ;water |
Directions
Saute the onions and garlic in the oil for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the breading mixture, yeast, soup base, salt and pepper and cook 3 to 4 minutes longer.
Add half of the water, whisking it into the onion and flour mixture.
When it thickens, add the remaining water, whisking to a light consistency.
