Sour cream noodle bake

| 8 | ounces | Medium wide egg noodles |
| 1 | pounds | Lean beef |
| 1 | tablespoon | Butter |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| 8 | ounces | Tomato sauce |
| 1 | cup | Cream style cottage cheese |
| 1 | cup | Dairy sour cream |
| 1 | cup | Chopped green onions |
| 1 | cup | Shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions
Cook noodles according to package directions. Rinse in cold water, drain.
Brown beef in butter over medium heat. Drain. Add salt and pepper, garlic powder, and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 min. In a separate bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, green onions and cooked noodles. Alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Top with shredded cheese. Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and browned.
Notes: This was so easy to make and the kids loved it! Next time try cut up cooked chicken or turkey. Also try omitting butter.
