Measure | Ingredient |

1 pounds | Ground round steak (not too fine) |
½ small | Onion; chopped |
1 can | (no 2) stewed tomatoes; mashed |
1 pack | (12-oz) noodles |
½ pint | Sour cream |
1 pack | Dry onion soup mix |
½ pounds | Sharp cheddar cheese; grated |
Brown ground steak and onion; add tomatoes. Cook for about 15 minutes.
Boil noodles for 10 minutes and drain. Place noodles in a bowl; stir in sour cream and onion soup mix. Alternate layers of cooked noodles and steak mixture in a casserole; top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Will serve 5 to 6.
Note: May be made the day before and kept in the refrigerator; does not freeze well.
