Yield: 1 Servings
|1 large||Onion; Chopped-1 Cup|
|2 packs||Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits, Or Plain|
1. Sauté onion in butter until soft in a 10" frying pan with an ovenproof handle; remove from heat. Lift out onion with a slotted spoon and place in a small bowl.
2. Separate the 10 biscuits in each package; dip, 1 at a time, in remaining buttery drippings in frying pan to coat both sides. Arrange, working from outside toward center, in a single layer in same pan; spoon cooked onion evenly over top.
3. Bake in hot oven 400 degrees for 25 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Break into serving size pieces with 2 forks. Serve hot.
