Shiitake saute

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
8 larges Fresh shiitake mushrooms
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Mirin or sweet sherry
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
½ teaspoon Sugar

Cut off and discard tough mushroom stems and cut caps into wedges.

Heat oil in skillet. Add mushrooms and stir-fry until almost tender.

Add mirin, soy sauce and sugar and toss to coat mushrooms.
