½ teaspoon | Black pepper |

1 teaspoon | Garlic powder |
Brown ground beef, onion, and green pepper together. Drain. Put into large heavy pan. Add rest of ingredients. Cover and simmer about 1½ hour or until rice is done. Stir often to keep from sticking.
