Sharon's red cabbage

Measure Ingredient
1 each Head red cabbage, sliced
Water
2 eaches Bay leaves
Salt
1 medium Onion, diced
20-30 whole allspice
1 tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoons Oil
2 tablespoons Vinegar
2-3 tbsp flour

Chop the red cabbage and add enough water to just cover. Add the chopped onion, whole allspice, bay leaves, sugar and oil. Boil until cabbage is tender. Add the vinegar and stir thoroughly.
