Best red cabbage

Quantity Ingredient

1 each Head coarsely chopped red cabbage
2 eaches To 3 T. bacon drippings
3 eaches To 4 T. honey
½ cup Tarragon vinegar
3 eaches Diced apples
½ teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Apple jelly
¼ teaspoon Ground cloves
¼ teaspoon Caraway seed
½ each To 3/4 c. red wine
\N \N Simmer 15-20 minutes more.

COVER AND SIMMER ONE HOUR.
