Measure | Ingredient |

1 cup | Margarine |
1½ cup | Sugar |
2 \N | Eggs |
1 cup | Sour cream |
3¾ cup | Flour |
1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
2 teaspoons | Ground cardamom |
Mix all ingredients in order listed. Spread on lightly greased 9x15" pan in 2 long strips. Bake in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut each strip into 1" wide pieces. Lay each on its side. (You'll probably need 2 baking sheets to hold all the cut pieces.) Place pans on top & bottom racks in oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Rotate pans, top rack to bottom & bottom rack to top.
Continue baking until slices are golden brown. Remove toast from pans. Cool on racks.
