Measure | Ingredient |

6 pints | Cider |
1 teaspoon | Whole cloves |
½ teaspoon | Freshly grated nutmeg |
1 \N | Cinnamon stick |
¼ cup | Brown sugar |
Put all the ingredients into a saucepan, bring to just below boiling point, but do not boil, and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain and serve in small mugs or glasses.
