Yield: 12 servings
|3 cups||Apples, red; chopped (do not peel)|
|1 cup||Walnuts; chopped|
|1 pint||Cream, whipping; whipped|
|\N \N||Sugar, powdered; to taste (for sweetening cream)|
In large bowl of mixer, sift together dry ingredients. With mixer on slowest speed, add oil. At medium speed, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Stir in the apples and walnuts. Turn batter into a greased tub pan. Bake at 350øF for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan and turn out on plate. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
