Sauerkraut relish

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
3cansSauerkraut (27 ozs each)
2cupsSugar
1cupHoney
cupSalad oil
3tablespoonsCaraway seed
1tablespoonSalt
½cupPickled sweet red pepper; minced

Directions

Combine all ingredients, except pepper, and simmer 2 hours. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Stir in pepper, pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. Makes about 4 pints.
