Sage and apple toasties

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
4 Thick slices granary bread
½ ounce Butter - softened; (15g)
1 small Red skinned dessert apple - thinly sliced
½ teaspoon Schwartz Rubbed Sage
5 ounces Mature Cheddar cheese - grated; (125g)

Toast the bread lightly on both sides. Spread with butter. Top with the sliced apples, a good sprinkling of Sage and the grated cheese. Grill gently until golden.
