Rosy caraway cheese dip

8ouncesLow-fat cream cheese
;at room temperature
1tablespoonButter, at room temperature
1tablespoonDijon mustard
2tablespoonsChives, chopped
1largeShallot, minced
4teaspoonsCaraway seeds
4teaspoonsPaprika
4teaspoonsCapers, drained

Directions

GARNISH

In a food processor or a bowl, combine all ingredients except capers.

Process or mix until very well blended. Add capers and blend in for a few seconds. Chill. Best if made several days ahead.

Serve in a bowl, sprinkled with chives. Pumpernickel, black bread or other dark breads go well with this.
