Red cabbage relish

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 quarts Red cabbage -- cored &
\N \N Shredded
3 \N Whole red onions -- sliced
3 \N Whole large bell peppers --
\N \N Chopped
1 pint Vinegar
2 cups Sugar
1 tablespoon Salt
1 tablespoon Celery seed
1 tablespoon Yellow mustard
⅓ tablespoon Turmeric

Combine red cabbage, onions and bell peppers in a large ceramic bowl. Bring vinegar to a boil, remove from heat, and stir in remaining ingredients.

Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover and chill overnight.
