White radish relish

Ingredients

1 | cup | Daikon; coarsely shredded (white Oriental radish) |
2 | mediums | Green onions; thinly sliced |
1 | small | Red chili pepper; seeded, finely chopped |
2 | tablespoons | Rice vinegar |
1½ | teaspoon | Soy sauce |
1½ | teaspoon | Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Canola oil |
½ | teaspoon | Toasted sesame oil |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
This relish has a real kick; serve it with Korean Barbecued Beef and other mild foods. Combine daikon, onion and chili in a bowl. In another bowl combine remaining ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Pour over daikon mixture. Cover and chill up to 24 hours. Makes 16 servings.
