White radish relish

Ingredients

1cupDaikon; coarsely shredded (white Oriental radish)
2mediumsGreen onions; thinly sliced
1smallRed chili pepper; seeded, finely chopped
2tablespoonsRice vinegar
teaspoonSoy sauce
teaspoonSugar
1teaspoonCanola oil
½teaspoonToasted sesame oil
¼teaspoonSalt

Directions

This relish has a real kick; serve it with Korean Barbecued Beef and other mild foods. Combine daikon, onion and chili in a bowl. In another bowl combine remaining ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Pour over daikon mixture. Cover and chill up to 24 hours. Makes 16 servings.
