Measure Ingredient
2 cups Butter
1 cup Sugar
5 cups Flour
½ teaspoon Salt

Cream Butter, (with beater) gradually add sugar & when it is light add flour & salt. Beat until dough is a good consistency. Divide dough in two pieces. Roll each piece until thin , cut for cookies & place on a cookie Sheet. Bake 300F 25 min.
