Pronto chili

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef, lean
1 small Chopped onion
1 can Tomato paste -- 6 oz
2 cans Water
2 teaspoons Chili powder
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cumin -- optional
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
1 can Kidney beans -- 16 oz
\N \N Drained
\N \N And rinsed
\N \N Shredded cheddar cheese

In a saucepan, brown beef and onion. Drain fat. Stir in all remaining ingredients except cheese; cover and simmer 20 min. Top each serving with cheese, if desired. Yield: 4 servings.
