Primavera-marinara sauce

| 2 | Onions,small,chopped | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Olive oil |
| 4 | Garlic cloves,crushed | |
| 28 | ounces | Tomatoes,crushed |
| 16 | ounces | Tomato sauce |
| 2 | cups | Small broccoil flowerets |
| 2 | cups | Small cauliflower flowerets |
| 2 | Carrots,cut in diag. slices | |
| 1 | tablespoon | Parsley,dried |
| 2 | teaspoons | Leaf basil,dried |
| 2 | teaspoons | Leaf oregano,dried |
Directions
1. Cook onion in oil in large nonstick skillet until softened, about 6 minutes.
2. Add garlic, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, broccoil, cauliflower, carrots, parsley, basil and oregano. Bring to boiling. Lower heat; partially cover and simmer 30 minutes.
3. Serve ½ cup sauce over 1 cup cooked pasta.
