Potato paprikash (hungarian potato paprikash)

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
4 ounces Cooking oil
1 \N Clove of garlic, crushed
¼ teaspoon Caraway seeds
4 pounds Potatoes, peeled and sliced thin.
2 \N Green peppers, seeded and cut into strips
2 \N Onions, finely chopped 2 cups of water
1 teaspoon Paprika
4 \N Tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped Salt (you can vary the amount to your taste.)

1 In a heavy-bottomed casserole, heat the oil and fry the onions and garlic. 2 Add the caraway seeds, paprika, and water. 3 Add the potatoes, peppers, and tomatoes. 4 Simmer for thirty minutes.

Difficulty: easy. Time: 15 minutes preparation, 30 minutes cooking.

Precision: no need to measure.
