Potato basque soup

| 1 | pounds | Italian sausage; sliced |
| ½ | cup | Chopped onion |
| 2 | cans | (16oz each) tomatoes |
| 4 | White potatoes; pared and diced, (6 C) | |
| ¼ | cup | Chopped parsley |
| 1 | cup | Diagonally sliced celery |
| 2 | tablespoons | Chopped celery leaves |
| 1½ | cup | Water |
| 2 | Beef bouillion cubes | |
| 1 | Bay leaf | |
| 1 | tablespoon | Salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Dried leaf thyme |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 1 | tablespoon | Lemon juice |
Directions
