Easy potato soup

Yield: 7 servings

Measure Ingredient
6 \N Frozen Gourmet Choice Hash Brown Patties
2½ cup Water
2 tablespoons Dried chopped Onion
3 tablespoons Dried Celery Flakes
½ cup Water
1 tablespoon Chicken flavored Bouillon Granules
2 cups Milk
2 tablespoons Dried Chives
\N \N Salt to taste
\N \N Pepper to taste
1 cup Sour Cream*
2 tablespoons Flour

In large saucepan or stockpot, combine hash brown patties and 2½ cups water. Cover and place over medium heat, stirring occasionally to break up patties. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, place dried onion and celery flakes in ½ cup water; let water absorb. Add onion mixture and bouillon granules to potato mixture. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in milk, chives, salt and pepper; mix well. In a small bowl blend sour cream and flour until smooth. Gradually stir sour cream mixture into soup. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Makes 7 (1-cup) servings.

NOTE: *Lite sour cream may be used in place of sour cream.
