1 | teaspoon | Olive oil |
4 | Salad onions; trimmed and finely | |

1 | Red chilli; deseeded and finely | |

1 | tablespoon | Red wine vinegar |
1 | 397 g; (14oz) can chopped | |
; tomatoes | ||
1 | tablespoon | Clear honey |
Salt and freshly ground black pepper |
Directions
BARBECUE SAUCE
1. Barbecue or grill the ribs on a moderate heat for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally.
2. Meanwhile make the sauce; heat the olive oil in a saucepan add the salad onions and fry for 1 minute. Stir in the chilli and fry for a further minute.
3. Add the vinegar then stir in the tomatoes and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Stir in the honey and seasoning, and simmer for a further 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Serve the pork ribs with the barbecue sauce. Delicious accompanied with egg noodles.
