Pizza by the yard

Ingredients

1poundsGround beef; browned and drained
cupParmesan cheese; grated
1tablespoonMinced onion; instant
¼cupBlack olives; chopped
1teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonOregano
1dashPepper
6ouncesTomato paste
1Loaf French bread
2mediumsTomatoes; sliced
1cupCheddar cheese; grated

Directions

Preheat broiler. Combine cooked ground beef, parmesan cheese, onion, olives, salt, oregano, pepper and tomato paste in bowl; mix well. Split french bread lengthwise. Spread half of meat mixture on cut side of each bread half. Top with tomatoes and cheese. Transfer to broiler pan. Broil for approximately 5 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.

NOTES : I add the tomatoes AFTER broiling.
