|6 tablespoons||Golden syrup|
|9 ounces||Soft brown sugar|
|3 fluid ounce||Water|
|6 ounces||Can evaporated milk|
|1||Lemon, rind and juice, finely grated|
Measure syrup with hot spoon into pan, add sugar, butter, water, heat gently, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolved. Bring to boil, take off heat, stir in milk, lemon.
