Measure | Ingredient |

½ cup | Butter |
2 cups | Sugar |
¼ teaspoon | Cream of tartar |
1 can | (5.3-oz) evaporated milk |
4 \N | Squares (1-oz) semi-sweet chocolate |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
18 larges | Marshmallows |
1 pinch | Salt |
\N \N | Chopped pecans |
Melt all ingredients except nuts in double boiler. Let cool. Stir in nuts and serve over ice cream. Yield: opproximately 2 cups.
