Pickled okra #1

Yield: 2 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 quarts Water
1 cup Salt
1 quart Cider vinegar
\N \N Okra; washed and drained
\N \N Clove garlic; chopped
\N \N Red pepper pods
\N \N Dill seed

Boil water, salt and vinegar 5 minutes. Cool. Into each quart jar put okra, 3-4 cloves garlic, 1 red pepper pod and 1 teaspoon dill seed. Pour liquid over okra and seal. Process.

NOTE: Get a book on canning if unsure about sealing and processing.
