Philadelphia cheese steak sandwich (lower fat)

Ingredients

Nonstick butter-flavored cooking spray
1cupThinly sliced onion rings
½cupThinly sliced green bell pepper
½cupThinly sliced red bell pepper
12ouncesSwanky Flanky steak; very thinly sliced
4French or hoagie-style rolls, halved lengthwise
4ouncesReduced-fat cheddar or Muenster cheese, thinly sliced

Directions

Coat nonstick medium skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat. Add onion and bell peppers. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 to 3 minutes, adding a little water from time to time to prevent sticking and overbrowning. Preheat broiler. Divide sliced flank steak over opened rolls.

Cover with onion mixture. Top with cheese. Broil, close to heat source, 1 minute or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
