|Prepared pie crust for one 9-inch pie|
|1 cup||Dark corn syrup|
|½ cup||Dark brown sugar|
|¼ cup||Butter or margarine; melted|
|1 tablespoon||TABASCO® pepper sauce|
|1½ cup||Pecans; coarsely chopped|
|Whipped Cream; optional|
Preheat oven to 425ø:F. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie plate; make decorative edge. In large bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add dark corn syrup, dark brown sugar, melted butter and TABASCO® pepper sauce. Place pecans in prepared pie crust; pour filling over pecans. Bake pie 15 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350øF. Bake pie 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Cool pie on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
